Virtual Virginia Course Texts and Materials 2009-10
Below are the required texts and materials for Virtual Virginia courses. School divisions are responsible for providing the required textbooks and supplemental reading materials (i.e. books, CD, etc.) for Virtual Virginia courses at no charge to students or parents.
Students are expected to work at an accelerated pace and to engage in outside reading and independent learning. The curriculum of the Virtual Virginia courses is aligned with course descriptions provided by the College Board. All advanced placement courses are open to any students willing to undertake a rigorous program of study and with the approval of the high school counselor. STUDENTS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO WORK AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL IN ALL ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES.
