Virtual Virginia’s 6–12 Secondary Program offers more than 120 online courses taught by Virginia-certified teachers for high school and middle school learners (grades 6–12). Two cohort start date options are available for each term to support differing school calendars across the Commonwealth.

New for 2022–2023

Students in grades 6–12 may now choose not only their courses, but also the meeting times for their daily synchronous instruction! Select enrollment is perfect for fully online learners and part-time, in-person students, and it can help school divisions facing teacher shortages. Learn more about Select enrollment.

Twenty-six new courses join the VVA course catalog in 2022–2023, including high school and middle school courses in Career and Technical Education (CTE), fine arts, world languages, and more!
